Jordana Sobey is Torc’s General Counsel and has nearly 15 years of legal experience throughout the technology industry. Contracts, licensing, corporate governance, financings, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions – these areas and more are specialties Jordana brings to the Torc table.
Previously, she served as Deputy General Counsel at Bugcrowd, an IT-security platform that crowdsources the talent of ethical hackers to exploit vulnerabilities. Prior to that she spent time at Appirio (Topcoder) handling an array of financial, legal and logistical particulars to ensure the smooth collaboration of remote teams in multiple countries. Before those in-house attorney positions, Jordana was an associate in the Technologies Practice Group of Goodwin Procter’s New York office.
When not solving legal problems and helping to close deals, Jordana hikes and skis with her family, and is an elected board of education member for her local school district. While her legalese is out of this world, Jordana’s real superpower is making nutella crepes from scratch in record time.
