Dave is passionate about the future of work, global technology community and how software should be developed. He brings to Torc 25+ years of collaboration experience with remote developers (long before the gig economy became popular), as well as an unmatched prowess for data-centric IT strategy and vision.

Prior to co-founding Torc as CTO, Dave spent two decades at Topcoder, most recently as Chief Technologist and Chief Community Officer. His early career was spent at Amentra and Tallan as a Lead Architect and Technical Project Manager working on ecommerce and enterprise software development projects for Fortune 500 companies.

A Trinity College graduate, Dave continues to excel as a technology innovator with his commitment to ongoing education (he’s current on more tech certs than we have space to list). A frequent resource for analysts and media, Dave is a spokesperson, author and technology keynote speaker.

While happily grounded by his family in The Constitution State, he somehow seems to be everywhere at once by virtue of his veracious virtual workstyle and unwavering loyalty to the Torc Community.
